.) When you switch into the left turn lane at an intersection, come to a complete stop. Then ease into the lane. You have to slow down because you never know who's going to drive at you over the concrete divider.
.) Drive much slower than the surrounding traffic. If there you have less than 400 feet between you and the car in front of you, you're doing it wrong!
.) Drive a truck or hummer.
.) If you are in the lane farthest to the right, make sure you stop in the middle of the lane at red lights. This frees the cars who want to make right turns from responsibility. Red means stop!
.) Sometimes, there are large breaks in the traffic moving perpendicular to you at intersections. Even if you have a red light, you are allowed to take this chance to move. PUNCH IT!
.) Use your cellphone with one hand, and animate your conversation with wild hand gestures with the other.
.) You pay gas taxes, so you exclusively own the roads. Everyone else should yield to YOU!
.) Referring back to rule 2, when you change lanes, make sure you're as close to the car behind you as possible. This is common courtesy because now they won't have to use their own gas to keep up.
.) Tail gate! Otherwise the car in front might read your license plate in their rear view mirror and track you down.
.) It's never your fault. It's always the other guy.
